Renato Ratti 2022 Ochetti Nebbiolo Langhe 750ml
Elegant and energetic Langhe Nebbiolo filled with youthful freshness. The wine was first produced in 1969 and has since become a symbol for Renato Ratti. The wine is incredibly aromatic and has an elegant lightness. The fragrance offers a beautiful bouquet of wild berries and spicy forest berries, bitter almond, liquorice root and smoked wood. Ochetti offers a taste of pure fresh red fruit and flowers; cranberries and raspberries, as well as fresh roses. The body is medium and the end has a crispy acid. Great Langhe Nebbiolo from the iconic domain of La Morra. The pioneer Renato Ratti was the first to map the Barolo’s terroir and his life’s work is today continued by his son Pietro, who has lifted the winery up into the international world class. Pietro was for many years chairman of the association of Barolo producers and Ratti is known for his incredibly elegant Barolo Marcenasco, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015. Ratti has several times been to the Wine Spectator’s top 100 and has also been No. 1 on Wine Enhusiast’s Top 100.
